Liam Benjamin Webster was born at 2:06pm on Tuesday, May 13th.  We had a scheduled induction appointment at 7am at Sarasota Memorial Hospital.  We arrived, checked in, and Dr. Sullivan began the induction process.  By noon, I was having contractions; Dr. Sullivan broke my water at 1pm.  Then I really started having contractions!  When the doctor broke my water, he realized that Liam was breech!  The previous month, the doctor thought Liam was head down so this was a big surprise.  Our birth plan quickly changed to include a c-section, and a few moments later, we were parents!  We left the hospital on Friday, we were excited to come home but sad to leave.  Our time at the hospital was great, the nurses and staff were amazing.  It felt more like a hotel stay than a hospital stay.  Erik and I enjoyed sharing the first few days with Liam surrounded by such great care.  That is our birthing story!
